Signs in the Yard

  1. NO signs are allowed on the north (17th Avenue) or south (East Beaton Drive) boulevards without the express permission of the Association Board of Directors. If placed without such prior permission, the sign(s) will be removed.
  2. Signs in the homeowners front-yard (usually happens during the political season or in the event of a rummage sale / garage sale / estate sale / or some event being held by the homeowner at their home here in Evergreen Estates) such signs are allowed as long as they are of reasonable size, in good taste, and put-up and taken-down in reasonable proximity to the date of the event. Political signs must be taken-down the evening before the day of the election.
  3. Signs announcing the sale of a home in Evergreen Estates or an open-house are governed by the guidelines on the Website under the section titled: “Selling and Buying a Home at EE”. At the time a home is listed, these guidelines are shared with the homeowner selling the property, and the real estate agent(s).
  4. Signs that state a belief or opinion of the homeowner. Such signs are allowed as long as they are of reasonable size, in good taste, and maintained. Signs of this nature require prior notification to the Association Board of Directors.
